Cheap and Cheerful | Beatportal

The remixes of this track are absolutely insane. Great stuff.

As seems to be envogue at present, here is my list of games to purchase by the end of the year. I won’t buy them all, but I will consider it.

-Shooters-

Gears of War 2
Call of Duty: World at War
Quantum of Solace (2 Treyarch games!?)
Resistance 2
Dead Space (Will borrow from a friend this week)
Left 4 Dead

-Non-Shooters-

Fallout 3
LittleBigPlanet
Rock Band 2
Patapon 2
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
Guitar Hero World Tour

I think thats about it. I might buy some PC games since I got a MacBook Pro; however, I am a console gamer through and through, so I shouldn’t forget that.

The Last Guy (ラストガイ)

SCEJ released a cool little game last week called The Last Guy. You try to lead survivors of a zombie death ray back to a pick up zone on a google maps based stage. Basically imagine a google maps version of Pac-Man and you are close to the gameplay style.

But no matter how I describe the game, trying is believing. And apparently SCEJ thinks so too, because they sent me a batch of 5 PSN (Japanese store only) download codes to try out the demo.

Last Guy Demo Download Codes

(1)2PDM-K4BL-2NF6
(2)CADJ-LRBL-3QC5
(3)ED7Q-H2BL-4D5D
(4)3MJP-27BJ-7KLK
(5)CDKE-TPBG-AEJG

Help yourself to a code. They are good until the end of the month. Just make sure to leave a comment saying which code you used, so people don’t spend hours inputing a useless code.

Since I only have to wake up in 5 hours and 2am blog posts are de riguer, I suppose I would post about my past two days.

Well, off to bed!

Bionic Commando: Bionic Commando Action Figure Spotted

I’m a big fan of NECA’s figures (I have 2 Kratos figures, Marcus and Cole from Gears, and Altair from Assassin’s on my desk at work), so I am especially happy for Ben, Gearoid, and the GRIN guys that Nathan Spencer is going to be a NECA toy! Good job, Ben!

Now make sure he has a voice chip so I can hear Mike Patton deliver my favorite line ever. :)

Deal with it.

Just to indulge in a bit of narcissism, but I really like this picture of me DJing.

I uploaded the rest of the pictures from Club Loom this month onto Flickr, Facebook, and my blog gallery.

Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)

Just in case you weren’t aware. This is probably the best album of the 90s. Closely followed by Nine Inch Nail’s The Fragile.

Not sure why I am posting this, just in a mood to share after watching the amazing Pork and Beans music video.

MADWORLD - Nintendo Wii

So the past 8 months of my life are nearly all public record. On Friday, PlatinumGames announced three new titles to be published by SEGA. I’ve been working closely on MadWorld (above) and Bayonetta (below).

Bayonetta

While I can’t say anything beyond what has been stated in the press releases, I’m really excited by the reaction our titles have received.

Our Facebook page has become one of the largest in the gaming section, and we are at just about 1100 fans as I write this. If you haven’t already, visit the page and watch the trailers for MadWorld and Bayonetta. If you like what you see, Become a Fan. For those of you who abhor Facebook, trailers after the cut.

I look forward to hearing everyone’s comments.

So in the past month I lost two pairs of D&G sunglasses.

I love sunglasses. Losing them (one was left in LA, one was lost while shopping) makes me want to cry like a sad panda.

However, yesterday I fixed my lack of sunglasses by going on a bit of a men’s furnishings spending spree.

First up, new dress sunglasses from Gucci.

Then I continued the conspicuous consumption with some sport sunglasses from Tag Heuer. Specifically the new Kimi Raikkonen designed/inspired Zenith line.

Finally, I found a great wallet that Mai was kind enough to gift me!

One can never say no to Dolce & Gabbana.
