I’d really like to go buy a Mac Pro today. I can afford it. I was ready to do it. However, Apple made absolutely one critical mistake… The video card that it ships with is not HDCP compliant. Now, if I can put my own third party video card into the machine and have HDCP compliance, then I’m happy; however, how am I supposed to get excited about running Leopard/Vista/Blu-ray on this machine, if you are giving me something that isn’t all that hot. If people find that you can drop a GeForce 7900 or 7950 into this thing… Then I’m all on board.

For only $10,399 you can get a quad-core 3GHz mac pro with 16 GB ram and 4 x 500GB HDs. We all need that, right?
