Well, I made it safely, if not a bit jet lagged.

Feel free to call whenever you’d like…

Tomorrow afternoon. Call me tomorrow around 6pm if anyone is going to see V for Vendetta. I may well be ass tired, but I’ll do my best. If you don’t know the number to call, leave a comment on my blog and I’ll email it to you.

It has been quite an interesting past couple days.

DS LITE

On Thursday morning, I woke up at the crack of dawn to go get a DS Lite. First stop at 6 A.M. – Yodobashi Camera Umeda.

They were apparently sold out from 5:30 A.M. when the trains started running. 450 units of Crystal White. Nearly 700 people milling around when we got there. Cursing our fate, we made the decision to move towards Den Den Town in search of a unit. Out of Namba station, we head towards Bic Camera Namba, which was opening at 10 A.M.. Luckily, at approximately 6:30 A.M. we were able to enter the line and ended up being the fourth to last people to get a unit.

After waiting for nearly 3.5 hours, we walk upstairs, select software, pick up our units and pay. Except for one of our party. When handing out line tickets, a Bic employee reached across me and handed Josh a ticket before handing me mine. When we got upstairs, as we are paying, a loud racket of bells and clapping quickly ensues. Josh had the golden ticket. His DS Lite was free. I was fucked with a 17800 Yen bill, as we’re the 2 other co-workers I was with. I had a DS Lite, and that lucky bastard Josh got our Starbucks bill :) .

The DS Lite is absolutely awesome btw. Here are some pics of the DS Lite.

This weekend, I stayed home; however, after a serious craving for American style sweet & sour pork, I decided to put my money where my mouth is and make it. Here is the result.
